The parties to the joint meeting in Yemen issued a statement condemning the violation of the ceasefire agreement by the Saudi aggression coalition.
Faraan: The Yemeni coalition parties called a “joint meeting” on Thursday strongly condemning the Saudi aggression coalition’s reluctance to reopen Sanaa airport and its non-compliance with the two-month ceasefire agreement announced by the United Nations. The deal is nearing the end of its first month, with no commitment from the Saudi coalition.
The parties to the Yemeni joint meeting stressed that the non-implementation of the ceasefire clauses by the aggressor coalition, including the clause related to the reopening and resumption of flights at Sanaa airport, shows the lack of seriousness of the coalition in the peace process.
The parties also stressed the need to reconsider the ceasefire position, which is being violated by the aggressor, and called for the continuation of the Yemeni operation to break the siege and defend the Yemeni people.
The ceasefire agreement between the aggressor Saudi coalition and the Sanaa government began in early April this year, and its most important provisions are the arrival of 18 fuel-carrying ships in the ports of Hodeidah and two flights from Sanaa airport and vice versa. However, no progress has been made in this process, and the aggressor coalition, in addition to not adhering to the ceasefire agreement, is constantly violating the agreement with its aggression against Yemeni civilians.
In this regard, the Sanaa government blamed the Saudi aggressor coalition and accused the United Nations of complicity with the aggressors after the coalition obstructed the reopening of Sanaa airport, where the first flight was scheduled to take place last Sunday. The Yemeni parties also called on Yemeni officials and people to take part in the World Al-Quds Day march tomorrow evening in Sanaa and other provinces.
Motahar al-Darwish, the head of the Yemeni High Medical Committee, also said that the non-implementation of the humanitarian part of the ceasefire provisions by the aggressor countries left the patients in a very bad mental state. He stressed that the withdrawal of the aggressor coalition from issuing operational licenses for Yemeni flights from Sanaa Airport is a confrontation with the United Nations and the international community, especially the aggression coalition continues to seize diesel ships that are essential for the operation of hospitals and health centers.
