Zionist regime seeks to expand ties with China amid decline of American power

Palestinian analysts believe that the Zionist regime is trying to diversify its political and economic relations due to concerns about the diminishing role of the United States in the Middle East, in order to maintain and even strengthen its position in the regional and international arena after the US withdrawal.

Faraan: There have been developments in the region and the world that have led the Zionist regime to consider diversifying its economic and political relations and creating new regional and trans-regional coalitions over the past years. Expanding economic ties with China has been Tel Aviv’s latest political approach recently, which is considered as an introduction to the political and military relations between the two sides.

Emad Abu Awad Palestinian analyst of Zionist regime issues said that “economic relations with China are not a priority for the Zionist regime, but they have always tried to embrace the strongest country in the world in recent decades. Note that they were once completely dependent on Britain, but after several years were embraced by the United States and the former Soviet Union.”

“These events mean that the Zionists are always trying to be in the arms of the strongest military power in the world. For the Zionists, economic and political relations are at a lower level than military relations,” the Palestinian expert added.

Stressing that the Zionist regime has not a major lobby in China, Emad Abu Awad said: “Zionists have not established serious ties there, however, given their ties with India, with which Tel Aviv has been able to establish very close relations, this may also be the case with China.”

Mansour Abu Karim, a Palestinian analyst on political issues and international relations, told Qods News Agency in Gaza: “Trade between China and the Zionist regime is increasing, and this will make Beijing in the future an important player in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.”

The Zionist regime is trying to use China’s advanced technologies to consolidate its occupation. In recent years, the Zionists have increased their trade with China to $ 11 billion a year.

“Given that China is at the top of the pyramid of world powers, Tel Aviv is trying to take advantage of this issue. Of course, this is not a threat to the Chinese, and their relationship is defined in terms of interests,” Mansour Abu Karim said.

“China knows that there is no solution to the Palestinian issue in the near future, so it is pursuing a policy of utilitarianism,” Palestinian political expertt Saeed Basharat told Qodsna reporter in Gaza, adding that “Sino-Israeli relations in the current situation are based on the principle of interests.”

“China’s relationship with the Palestinian Authority is also based on interests, and we should not even be surprised if Beijing seeks to establish relations with Hamas when its interests require it,” he emphasized.

“Given the growing power of China on the world stage, the Zionists are trying to win political and security relations with this country,” Saeed Basharat said.
